Medicinal Cannabis Specialist

As a medical cannabis practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing accessible and affordable medicinal cannabis treatment to patients. Our clinic operates a network of clinics and independent clinicians throughout Australia, allowing us to offer a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to care.
We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in chronic pain and mental health management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. While previous prescribing experience is not required, full training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into this new role.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments with our nursing team
- Prescribing medicinal cannabis products in accordance with regulations and guidelines
- Undertaking regular patient follow-up consultations and ongoing care
- Liaising with healthcare practitioners for coordinated care and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with unrestricted authority
- Experience in chronic pain and mental health management
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes
- Eligibility to practice in Australia
