About Our Opportunity

Queensland X-Ray is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Nuclear Medicine department. We are looking for an individual with exceptional leadership qualities and technical expertise to manage our clinical services.

This role offers a challenging opportunity to operationalize and advance the delivery of nuclear medicine services across a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work under the direction of our Director of Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Medicine Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies that drive excellence in patient care, quality outcomes, and staff development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operational management of nuclear medicine clinical services
  • Leadership and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team

  • Supervision of in-house compounding of nuclear medicine, PET, and therapy radiopharmaceuticals

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine)
  • Full AHPRA Registration with no imposed conditions or limitations
  • Full QLD Radiation Use Licence
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
