Athletic Trainer-Physician Practice Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Athletic Trainer to provide on-site care and support to patients in a physician practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, assess, and treat musculoskeletal injuries and sports concussions
  • Provide on-site home exercise instruction, splinting/bracing, and instructions
  • Assist medical staff with completing required medical documentation and statistics
  • Act as a liaison between patients and medical teams, providing patient education and support
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training
  • Current license issued by the relevant state licensing board
  • Certification by the Board of Certification, Inc. for athletic trainers
  • Maintains AT license in good standing
  • CPR through the American Heart Association for the Healthcare Provider (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Past experience in a sports medicine and/or orthopaedic physician practice
  • Ability to travel and perform services at various locations
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and schedules
Work Environment:

The Athletic Trainer works in a fast-paced clinical environment, interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, while also being flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
