A Typical Day for Our Pest Control Technicians
Morning Routine
- You will start your day by loading your company vehicle with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Travel to your first customer site, wearing your company uniform and ensuring your vehicle is safe and well-maintained.
On-Site Services
- Visit multiple customer sites, providing pest control services and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Inspect customer premises for signs of pests, carry out measures to eliminate pests, and clean and remove evidence of pest activity.
- Advise customers on maintenance and hygiene practices to prevent future pest issues.
- Complete accurate service reports after each visit.
- While physical fitness is not required, you will need to be able to work efficiently and safely throughout the day.
- Take responsibility for your own health and safety, ensuring your vehicle is safe and well-maintained at all times.
End of Day
- Return to the depot, debrief with your manager, and discuss your day's activities.
- Reflect on your performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements for the Pest Control Technician Position
- Valid Australian driver's license (manual license preferred)
- Confident use of mobile phone and service apps/tablets
- Interest in pest control or related industry experience
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check
