The role of Relief Venue Manager involves leading venue teams across Regional Queensland, providing strong leadership and management of all hotel/venue operations and employees.
- Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Analyzing and reporting on key business metrics to ensure continuous improvement of hotel operations.
- Managing budgets and expenses, analyzing financial information, and monitoring sales and profits.
- Networking within the community to foster loyalty and understand customer and community needs.
- Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote the hotel's services.
The essential skills, behaviors, and qualifications include:
- A current Approved Manager Licence, RMLV, Gaming Nominee, RSA, and RSG.
- Strong leadership, training, motivational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
- High personal presentation and hygiene standards.
- Availability to work hospitality hours.
- Ability to manage conflicts, remain calm under pressure, and work unsupervised.
- A thorough understanding of P & L.
- Management experience in high-volume food, bar, function, gaming, and retail environments.
