About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Director to lead our Global System Integrator (GSI) business in APAC. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to further develop the GSI program, establishing partnerships across APAC, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive strategy to further develop the GSI program, including sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategies, programs, and offerings.
  • Partnership Management: Develop executive relationships with leaders of 3+ GSI partners, manage executive meeting frequency, and represent Databricks as a spokesperson at trade events.
  • Sales Objectives: Attain the sales objectives set for the GSI ecosystem.
  • Forecast Management: Manage an accurate forecast in a regional capacity.
  • Team Leadership: Lead virtual teams to achieve shared objectives.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of sales or business development experience with an outstanding record of success.
  • 5+ years of experience serving in a senior-level partner or GSI sales-based role.
  • Experience building strategic plans and implementing partner programs.
  • Channel sales management experience, including managing global alliance partners.
  • Record selling SaaS technology platforms to APAC regional partners.
  • Experience serving in partner ecosystem leadership roles within APAC.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $200,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
