Senior Psychiatrist

About the Role:

The Consultant Psychiatrist – Perinatal will be responsible for providing specialist advice and care to obstetric inpatients and to pre-and post-natal outpatients in the southern metropolitan area of Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perinatal clinical services in the Division of Mental Health SAHS.
• Providing a consultation-liaison service to inpatients and outpatients.
• Teaching to staff of this Division.

About You:

• Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
• Extensive clinical experience relevant to work in adult psychiatric practice.
• Clinical ability in the speciality of perinatal psychiatry.
• Ability to work within and provide leadership for a multidisciplinary team.
