About the Role:

Skillforce Recruitment is seeking a skilled High Pressure Water Jetting Operator to join our team for a temporary opportunity at Rio Tinto's Paraburdoo Mine Site. As a High Pressure Water Jetting Operator, you will be responsible for operating high-pressure water jetting equipment in a safe and efficient manner, performing industrial cleaning tasks, and adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to strip off old coatings and prepare surfaces for abrasive blasting.
  • Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as tank cleaning and pipeline maintenance.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to complete tasks within designated timelines.

Requirements:

  • Valid High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) Operator Ticket.
  • Valid Australian Drivers licence.
  • Confined Space Ticket.
  • Working at Heights Ticket.
  • White Card.
  • Rio Tinto Induction is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience operating high-pressure water jetting equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adverse weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
