Job Description

The role of Principal Product Consultant is a leadership position that requires an expert-level understanding of domain, product and delivery methodology to guide and successfully implement Fenergo's offering within the client environment.

This involves:

  • Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) within the financial services industry;
  • Financial Crime Compliance, including anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, and fraud;
  • Credit Risk Assessment
  • Financial Markets Regulations; and
  • Environmental and Social Governance (ESG)

The ability to travel to attend on-site client meetings and/or to other offices is also required.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide comprehensive customer demonstrations on Fen-X and Fen-E CLM platforms
  2. Communicate effectively with clients and be considered a confident domain and product expert in one or more of the domains listed above
  3. Challenge clients on requirements to drive out optimum solutions and align with industry best practices, the product offering, and the overall strategy
  4. Foresee and escalate issues in a timely manner, avoiding negative impact on the project success
  5. Drive internal and external communications aimed at effectively managing stakeholder expectations
  6. Provide support to pre-sales and sales as needed

Practice and Leadership

  1. Play a supporting role in shaping the direction of the Product Consultant Practice
  2. Support employee development through line management and becoming an SME in multiple parts of the Fenergo Product and regularly delivering training on these areas
  3. Implement efficiencies and improvements that drive consistent, repeatable, successful delivery
  4. Keep up to date with changes in industry and regulatory practices, the product offering and content hub
  5. Support the Director, Functional Delivery and CCO (Chief Customer Organization), in regional change management efforts
  6. Cascade global and regional organisational goals and initiatives to the team

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 10 years' industry and domain experience implementing, consulting or managing software projects and working on the vendor side within the financial services industry
  2. Strong presentation and communication skills
  3. Strong interpersonal/leadership skills - ability to shape and lead conversations at all levels
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  5. Excellent organisation skills
  6. Effective listening skills
  7. Experience offering design solutions
  8. Experience leading client engagements and leading a team
  9. Proven track record of developing and growing talent through effective people management

Education

  1. Degree in Business/Technology or equivalent
