Are you a motivated and experienced restaurant manager looking for a new challenge? This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of a venue, ensuring smooth functioning of facilities and services.
You will be responsible for coordinating venue bookings and event schedules, monitoring financial transactions, preparing budgets, and managing expenses to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
A key aspect of this job is leading and supervising staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. You will also be accountable for achieving all revenue targets and having an agile approach to managing the business.
- Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, coordinating bookings and event schedules, and monitoring financial transactions.
- You will oversee all operational requirements of the business, including marketing, security, maintenance, food and beverage service, sales and events, and cash management.
- A strong understanding of hospitality industry trends, as well as excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting, with experience in training teams and ensuring high standards are upheld.
Strong organisational, time management and administrative skills, thorough understanding of food safety and liquor licensing regulations, and passion for the hospitality industry are also required.
