We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our high-performing Investment Finance team at Frasers Property. The key objective of this role is to support the Investment business across its Retail and Commercial asset portfolios.

This role will partner with the asset and property managers across the business to deliver accurate and timely financial results, month-end activities, management reporting, and forecasting and budgeting.

As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with property and centre managers to ensure all relevant charges are invoiced to tenants.
  • Ensuring profit and loss statements for operational assets are accurate and reviewing profit and loss variance reports against forecasts and budgets.
  • Ongoing maintenance of general ledger accounts and completion of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Working closely with the asset management teams as a trusted Finance Business Partner, to solve finance-related issues and provide commercial insights to drive desired outcomes.
  • Supporting the asset monthly forecasting and annual budget process, working collaboratively with asset teams to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Providing timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights for designated portfolios.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly financial results for designated portfolios, including analysis and commentary on the performance of the assets.
  • Statutory reporting to the Corporate team for the Executive team and Board.
  • Preparing details and supporting documentation for audit and working to assist external auditor queries.
  • Streamlining financial accounting and reporting processes; ongoing process improvement.

As the ideal applicant, you will possess:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience within retail or commercial property is highly desirable.
  • Strong reporting and financial systems capability, SAP and Excel skills essential.
  • Strong skills in analysis, time management, and written and verbal communications.
