About the Role

BaptistCare is seeking an experienced and compassionate physiotherapist to join their team in the Newcastle area. As a physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our clients under Aged Care Funding, promoting independence and restoring functional independence to enable them to remain living at home.

Your Team

You will be part of a well-established multi-disciplinary team who share a passion for empowering individuals to live their best lives. Our unique Well-Living approach to care enables our clients to receive personalized support and services that cater to their individual needs.

About You

  • Must have a degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Authority
  • Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients
  • Postgraduate experience working in various aged care services, including community settings
  • Strong understanding of health and well-living models, including reablement and restorative care models
  • Able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to utilize required software to support working from home
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with clients and their families

$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
