About the Role:
AACo is seeking an experienced Processing Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for overseeing premium beef processing through third-party sites. This role ensures timely, specification-compliant production for global markets, focusing on quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production at third-party locations, ensuring adherence to AACo's quality and grading standards.
- Drive productivity, yield, and quality through balanced scorecards and performance metrics.
- Lead the management of the ongoing relevant certifications of the company to ensure they meet commercial objectives and legal obligations, both statutory and regulatory.
- Lead project management initiatives to improve processes, systems, and benchmarking.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to, and any concerns are escalated/addressed.
Requirements:
- Leadership and management experience in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of beef processing, quality control, and food safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers.
