About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Motorcycle Courier to join our team in Gladstone, QLD.

Job Summary

This is a permanent part-time role working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 6am to midday. You will be responsible for delivering mail and small parcels on our motorcycles, providing excellent customer service and representing Australia Post in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mail and small parcels to homes and businesses in Gladstone and surrounding areas
  • Work autonomously as part of a team, interacting with customers and colleagues
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks and load vehicles with deliveries
  • Deliver in various weather conditions, adhering to safety protocols
  • Participate in professional development and training with experienced Rider Mentors
Requirements
  • A full or probationary QLD motorcycle licence and regular riding experience
  • Satisfactory completion of our mandatory and practical riding assessment
  • Flexibility to work additional hours if required
  • Excellent memory, attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 16kgs regularly
  • Meet the safe working load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully-clothed
