Personal care is a vital aspect of our community’s well-being, and we are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join us in this role.

This position involves providing personalized support to clients in their daily lives, focusing on promoting independence and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with domestic duties, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Accompany clients on outings, provide companionship, and assist with social activities.
  • Engage clients in leisure activities, promote cognitive stimulation, and encourage physical activity.
  • Administer medications, maintain accurate records, and report any changes in client health.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers through effective communication and empathy.

Required skills include the ability to work independently, think critically, and demonstrate patience and understanding. Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate and Covid-19 vaccination are also essential.

This is a casual role with potential for permanent part-time work for suitable candidates.

Travel time and kilometres between clients are compensated.
