The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic MC Driver to join our metro team in Darwin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of general freight to and from customer specified sites, working Monday – Friday with rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing local pickups & deliveries to our vendors and clients across Darwin.
  • Transporting various types of goods, including produce, general freight, refrigerated freight etc. across the metro/regional metro areas.
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Loading and restraining all loads in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical fitness of vehicles and report any issues or incidents promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and handling any inquiries or issues professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • Current MC Driver's Licence with demonstrated experience in your licence class.
  • Current LF licence.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in various driving conditions.
