Outside School Hours Educator Role

As an Outside School Hours Care Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children before, during, and after school hours. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and support their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for working with children. A Certificate or Diploma qualification in Children's Services is highly desirable, and previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children before, during, and after school hours.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning and fun.
  • Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to achieve program goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Applicants should possess:

  • A Certificate or Diploma qualification in Children's Services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
