Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Tax Accountant or Supervisor. This role involves preparing tax returns, financial statements, and providing business advisory services to clients.


About the Role
  • Preparation of tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, partnerships, and SMSFs.
  • Preparation of financial statements, BAS/IAS/PAYG for the above entities.
  • Build relationships with clients and provide them with exceptional service.
  • Use of Xero and FYI software to manage client information and perform tasks efficiently.
  • Research general taxation issues to stay up-to-date with the latest laws and regulations.
  • Participate in various business advisory projects under the supervision of our Managers and Directors.

Requirements
  • An Accounting Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an Australian Accounting Public Practice.
  • Completed or currently completing CA or CPA program.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and high attention to detail.
  • Great communication and organizational skills.
  • A good understanding of general accounting principles.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Pro-active and hard-working mentality.
  • Experience with accounting software (XPM, Xero, MYOB, FYI Docs and BGL Simple Fund) is advantageous.
