Program Coordinator: Outdoor Education Specialist

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team in delivering high-quality, adventure-based school camps that inspire young Australians to build confidence, resilience, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of program delivery from planning to post-camp review. This includes supervising and supporting a team of Senior Instructors and Outdoor Educators, designing programs in consultation with schools to meet specific objectives, managing rosters, staffing, and equipment maintenance, overseeing budgets, and ensuring safety standards, SOPs, and compliance requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Experience leading outdoor education programs and teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of risk management and safety compliance in outdoor settings.
  • A 'can-do' attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Cert IV or higher in Outdoor Recreation/Education (or equivalent).
  • Current First Aid and CPR (Remote Area First Aid desirable).
  • Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
