**Job Overview**

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Tradesperson to join our operation at the steelworks.

You will be a key member of our integrated maintenance crew, focused on maintaining the reliability and performance of plant equipment through both preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct fault finding and reactive repairs to plant and mechanical equipment to minimise downtime and restore functionality.
  • Complete scheduled maintenance activities, including during planned plant shutdowns.
  • Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and reliability teams to improve asset performance.
  • Accurately record all maintenance activities in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.

**Requirements:**

  • Australian Trade qualifications (minimum of Certificate III).
  • A strong commitment to safety.
  • Knowledge and experience in hydraulic systems.
  • Experience in fault finding and troubleshooting repairs on various plant equipment.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential.
