Job Title: Collections SpecialistWe're seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a vital role in driving our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Maximise collections and recovery strategies within assigned portfolios.
- Identify and manage sensitive and challenging issues on customers' accounts, ensuring a positive outcome.
- Negotiate complex disputes with customers to achieve the best possible outcomes while mitigating exposure.
- Contribute to team cohesion and a positive culture.
- Experience in a fast-paced collections and recoveries environment.
- Demonstrated background in successful debt collection, mercantile, and legal recoveries across various debt profiles.
- Team player with empathy, negotiation skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
