About the Centre:

We are a family-run childcare centre offering high-quality care and services based on the EYLF framework.

About the Role:

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for guiding a team of educators to provide a safe and secure environment for children to grow and develop. You will create engaging programs based on the EYLF and NQS standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a room in our childcare centre
  • Guiding assistant educators, students, and trainees
  • Creating programming based on the EYLF and NQS
  • Recording observations of children and documenting their progress and milestones
  • Liaising with parents daily to provide feedback on children's development

Requirements:

- ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher

- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)

- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)

- Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia

- Effective communication skills

- Warm personality

You will be required to ensure the safety and well-being of all children, including those who are vulnerable. Regularly providing a Working with Children Check and two Reference Checks from previous managers and colleagues is mandatory.

The client has a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse and takes disciplinary action if necessary.
