Project Coordinator Opportunity

Our organization is seeking an articulate and motivated individual to coordinate the procurement and delivery of capital projects for water supply, sewerage, and effluent reuse assets across the project cycle.

  • Prepare briefs and tender documentation calling for preliminary design, concept design, detailed design, or construction services.">
  • Understand and communicate required project scope and necessary tasks and activities to deliver projects as well as check works as executed drawings and update assets registers.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

We are looking for an individual who holds a degree qualification in a relevant engineering, business, or project/construction management discipline. The successful candidate will have well-developed skills in interpreting detailed engineering plans, specifications, and quality systems.

  • Experience delivering works across the project cycle in the context of water supply and sewerage systems.">
  • Sound understanding of contract management principles including risk management, workplace health and safety, and equal employment opportunity.">
  • Ability to manage relationships with contractors and professional consultants to achieve results.">
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.">
  • Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Office software, MS Project project planning software, and spatial information software.">

Benefits

This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week. The total remuneration package includes a base salary, superannuation, and additional benefits such as a leaseback vehicle, rostered day off scheme, annual award salary increases, performance reviews, and wellbeing initiatives.
