About the Role
The Cabin Galley position is a vital part of our Hospitality Operations on the Murray Princess. As a Cabin Galley, you will be responsible for all aspects of cabin cleaning, including making beds daily, changing linen, cleaning bathrooms, and galley work for lunch and dinner service.
You will work closely with all crew members and be part of a small dynamic team. You will be required to maintain professionalism, demonstrate excellence in safety, and always be reliable.
This role requires energy, commitment, initiative, teamwork, multi-skilling, and time management.
About You
- You will be customer-facing while cruising, so strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- You should have organizational and planning skills to manage your workload effectively.
- Achievement and results-driven individuals who are self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude will thrive in this role.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year hotel, galley, or cruise ship experience.
- Certificate Qualification in Hospitality is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Food Safety Certificate is desirable.
- Customer service experience is essential.
We offer all meals and accommodation on board the Murray Princess when rostered on duty, as well as transport from Adelaide CBD to Mannum if required.
