We are seeking an experienced and caring Long-Term Care Assistant to join our team at InterRent REIT. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with our residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living needs, including meal service, light housekeeping, laundry, and programming. You will also lead activities that promote socialization, such as walking rounds, facilitating socialization and participating in planned activities to the extent that the resident is able and willing.

You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that residents have access to self-help devices and visually impaired-friendly arrangements. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse individuals will make a significant difference in the lives of our residents.

As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for recording resident's food intake and/or output as directed, reporting changes in eating habits to the charge nurse, and assisting with food set-up and feeding of patients. You will also participate in safety rounds to ensure a secure environment for residents and staff members.
