ISS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing essential support services, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensuring that common areas, restrooms, and workspaces are clean and sanitary.
  • Maintaining and repairing hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Performing routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Assisting with basic electrical tasks, such as replacing light bulbs or fuses.
  • Assisting with the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections of the site and reporting hazards.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Providing support to other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Certifications in areas like plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, or other relevant trades.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, handyman, or groundskeeping roles, preferably in industrial or mining environments.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC maintenance skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working without constant supervision.
  • Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one and medically fit to pass pre-employment medical.
  • Australian Driver's License (Required).
