Strategic Cyber Security Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Security Specialist to support the E-7A AUS Wedgetail AEW&C program.
In this role, you will play a critical part in monitoring and analysing network traffic and event logs to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in continuous monitoring and assessment of security control coverage and effectiveness, ensuring that all tasks related to asset management, patching, and other maintenance activities have been completed effectively.
You will also perform thorough vulnerability assessments and audits to identify weaknesses and recommend suitable security measures.
As part of a team responsible for implementing information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures, you will work collaboratively to ensure the highest level of security is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse network traffic and event logs to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in continuous monitoring and assessment of security control coverage and effectiveness.
