PhD Energy Leader Development Opportunity
Monash University is seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD candidate to join our Energy Institute and contribute to the development of the nation's future energy leaders.
The Zema Energy Studies Scholarship is a world-class PhD program that aims to create a cohort of energy professionals with advanced multidisciplinary knowledge across engineering, IT, and business and economics.
As a PhD candidate, you will have the opportunity to work on a research project that aligns with your interests and expertise, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the energy sector.
The scholarship provides a $50,000 per annum stipend plus the opportunity for a paid internship with the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO).
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct research in energy-related topics, including grid stability, energy storage, and electric vehicles
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for the energy sector
- Collaborate with industry partners and academic staff to advance knowledge and practice in energy-related fields
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
