Registered Nurse Acute Medical Coronary Care Unit

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Medical Unit and Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Cardiac experience is desired, however training will be provided to the right candidate.

The successful candidate will work within a supportive environment providing quality, evidence-based care. Opportunities to rotate to Cath Lab and Intensive Care Unit have been offered previously to staff for ward-based upskilling potential. Further, tertiary qualifications can be undertaken via the UTAS program.

About the Role:

This position requires a Registered Nurse with sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed interpersonal skills, be proactive, motivated and patient focused. Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement are essential.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in an Acute hospital setting is preferred
