We are seeking a registered Australian TM attorney and/or admitted TM lawyer with 4+ years (OR MORE) post-qualification experience in TMs or equivalent experience as a TM paralegal/assistant. You should possess a strong technical & practical knowledge of the prosecution process, opposition proceedings, and the enforcement of trade mark rights. Additionally, you should have proven ability to manage your own TMs cases highly autonomously from start to finish, be proactive, results-focused, excel in client service and management skills, and be ambitious to accelerate your SUCCESS to the MAX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on trade mark searches, contracts, registration, prosecution, opposition, non-use and licensing, infringement actions, dispute resolution, and risk management/regulatory compliance;
  • Manage your own trade mark practice autonomously from start to finish;
  • Participate in the firm's business development/marketing initiatives.

About the Role:

This is a senior role within the national trade mark team, reporting directly to the Head of TMs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade mark law and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
