The Empire Group is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team in Brisbane CBD. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for administering government building contracts and providing high-level advice to clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain contractual obligations of parties to the contract honestly and fairly.
  • Undertake regular site inspections, manage meetings, issue variation orders, and assess contractual claims.
  • Process contractor's requests for information and ensure Building Act compliance.
  • Provide high-level advice and administer dispute resolution processes.
  • Implement contract administration policies and procedures and post-contract performance evaluation systems.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in contract administration processes associated with traditional and non-traditional contracts.
  • Extensive understanding of EOT, VO, claim, payment claim, etc., and other contractual matters.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
  • Residential (at least 1-2 storey) building experience.
  • Experience in administering government building contracts is highly desirable.

**Salary:** The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $66.86 to $76.50 + super, ensuring they are well-compensated for their expertise.
