About The Role

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide life-changing speech pathology to NDIS participants in Central Coast and surrounding areas. Our Central Coast Hub is based in Lake Haven.

Your Everyday

  • As a Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence, you will work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
  • You will utilise an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, creating therapy plans and providing life-changing speech pathology to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
  • You will work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals.
  • You will build meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
  • You will attend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
  • You will tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Speech Pathology
  • SPA Registration
  • A positive and flexible approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
  • Commitment to personal and professional development
  • Valid driver's license
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Working with Childrens Check
  • Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred, however not essential.
