Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Kindergarten Coordinator to join our passionate and supportive Early Years team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing operational leadership and support to manage and build capacity of the Early Years staff in our Cardinia and Baw Baw services.

Working as the Nominated Supervisor across a portfolio of sessional Kindergarten Programs, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing Educators & Teachers at each service. You will lead the team to deliver high quality programs that are inclusive and meet the needs of all children and families. Additionally, this role has responsibility for managing the people and financial resources of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational leadership and support to Early Years staff in Cardinia and Baw Baw services.
  • Manage and develop capacity of Early Years staff.
  • Support and develop Educators & Teachers at each service.
  • Lead the team to deliver high quality programs that are inclusive and meet the needs of all children and families.
  • Manage the people and financial resources of services.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree or Post Graduate qualification in Education (Early Childhood) or related discipline.
  • Experience in leadership of early years services (Kindergarten and Long Day Care).
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with staff, children and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve goals.
