SAL Consulting is a leading organisation in the field of neurodevelopment, attachment and trauma-informed practice. We provide a range of customised services to support individuals with complex needs, including children and young people, people with a disability, and those who have experienced trauma.
We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centred services, working with clients across the age span with various needs, and conducting a range of assessments and interventions.
Responsibilities:- Conducting assessments of clients' presenting issues and support needs
- Developing and implementing individualised plans to address client needs
- Providing therapy and direct treatments to clients
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to optimise outcomes
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology and experience as a Psychologist with general registration
- Registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues and/or experiences of trauma
- Experience providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention and support in the disability sector
