About this role:

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Electrical Hardware Engineer, looking to make their mark on some of the most high-profile and strategically critical projects.

  • Contributing to the development of electronic systems, showcasing expertise in both hardware and embedded software.
  • Conducting and reporting on sea trials, overseeing aspects like shipment coordination and trial setup.
  • Collaborating with manufacturers, PCB layout work, comprehensive report writing, embedded systems development, signal processing, outlining system requirements, effective customer interaction, and organizing and executing sea trials.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering
  • Programming skills in C/C++ and Python
  • Proficiency in CAD, including 3D modelling and 2D dimensioned drawings
  • Experience collaborating with manufacturers to create items, encompassing mechanical design and the meticulous proof-checking of drawings
  • Recognised by and a Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
