Early Childhood Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in a state-of-the-art Long Day Care centre based in Sydney.

As an experienced Early Childhood Diploma holder, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a high-quality education and care curriculum for all enrolled children. You will also provide active support to the children and families, and build and maintain professional and positive relationships with families while developing collaborative relationships with all staff in the service.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Approved qualification in Early Childhood Education
  • Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • Minimum 1 year's experience working in a childcare environment
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children's learning
  • Motivation to inspire and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre
  • Caring, supportive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning
