Role Overview
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Patient Transport Officer. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality transport care to patients within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and interventions during transport.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care throughout the transport process.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with patients and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions in line with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations.
  • Operate independently while adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay informed about RFDS MPC policies and NEPT regulations to uphold best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certification as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) with a minimum of Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Care.
  • Experience in the NEPT sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Possession of a FULL NSW Driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Availability for day shifts, Monday to Friday.

Vaccination Requirements
