Job Opportunity: Liability Underwriter

We are seeking a seasoned Liability Underwriter to join our General Liability team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Liability and Regional Manager to develop a diversified liability portfolio.

  • Collaborate with brokers to build a General Liability pipeline
  • Prepare and communicate quotations
  • Negotiate rates and terms with brokers
  • Presents DUAL's Liability product information to brokers
  • Communicate bindings and policy conditions for administration processing
  • Mid-term adjustments and endorsements for administration processing
  • Follow up on offers of quotation and renewal
  • Update reporting systems
  • Protect DUAL's interests
  • Foster adherence to underwriting procedures
Requirements

A self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills is required, along with at least three years of liability underwriting experience. A solid understanding of client industries, businesses, and risks is essential. Interpersonal skills, market knowledge, and passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building relationships are also key.
