The Video Production Officer plays a crucial role in creating engaging and informative audio-visual resources to support learning and teaching across the institution.

This position requires collaboration with educators to ensure that created content aligns with intended educational outcomes, provides support for recording and video facilities, and adheres to brand, technical, and administrative requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality audio and video resources to facilitate learning and teaching.
  • Work closely with educators to guarantee content relevance and quality.
  • Offer assistance for recording and video facilities, ensuring compliance with institutional standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation in learning and teaching practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Demonstrated expertise in motion graphics creation.
  • Able to operate professional video and audio production equipment.
  • Skills in storyboarding and scripting non-fiction materials.
  • Experience in editing professional video and audio, preferably within Adobe ecosystem (Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Strong storytelling and editing skills to convey complex ideas through audiovisual media.
  • Familiarity with accessibility requirements related to audiovisual materials.
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to collaborate with staff, students, and community members.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in team settings with sound judgement.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
