This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that supports the maintenance of Joint Strike Fighter F-35s. As a Tool Store Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Ground Support Equipment.
Your Key Responsibilities- Expedite Ground Support Equipment around the site to support maintenance
- Maintain the site Tool Store and tool control system
- Maintenance and repair of Composite Tool Kits and Aircraft Tooling
- Raise and close work orders related to Ground Support Equipment maintenance
- Be proficient in Ultramain and ALIS or relevant logistic information systems
- Distribute equipment to support agencies as required
- Support Ground Support Equipment Technicians with the management and distribution of calibrated equipment
- Working within an aviation environment requires a high level of dedication and attention to detail
- You will need excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to succeed in this role
- Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under your own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost are essential
- Experience using Ultramain and/or ALIS or similar logistic information systems is highly desirable
- Trade qualifications would be advantageous
- Forklift License would be desirable
- Good experience with record keeping and inventory management is also important
- Knowledge of Aircraft General Servicing Equipment (GSE) and calibrated tooling would be desirable
