Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Paediatrician to join our team in a full-time, permanent appointment. As a General Paediatrician, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of comprehensive family-centred developmental care to babies born at Mater Mothers Hospitals Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist consulting in the private practice rooms
- Undertake rounds of any inpatients
- Contribute to on-call for maternity services
- Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, teaching sessions, journal club, grand rounds, quality audit, and research
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner without conditions, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Specialist registration: Paediatrics and Child Health – General Paediatrics
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent
- Completed Advanced Training in General Paediatrics with the RACP or equivalent
- Experience in providing evidence-based family-centred general paediatric care, including in SCN, birthing, postnatal, and outpatient settings
