We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Refrigeration/HVAC Technician Apprenticeship. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and rectify faults in refrigeration control systems
- Establish the basic operating conditions of vapour compression systems
- Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components
- Install refrigerant pipe work, flow controls and accessories, maintaining low temperature systems
- Prepare and connect refrigerant tubing and fittings
- Locate and rectify faults in low voltage electrical equipment using set procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Mechanical aptitude, an eagerness to learn and ability to participate in working as part of a team.
- Own transportation and current Victorian Probationary or full Drivers Licence
- Willing to undergo a Medical and Police Check
- Be able to work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues
