Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Signalling Systems Designer to join our team at Siemens Mobility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering Railway Signalling interlocking and track-side application projects.

You will be responsible for designing Scheme Plans with minimal supervision, creating Interlocking data for less complex sites under the guidance of a Principal Design Engineer, and performing headway calculations and determining signal spacing for simple layouts.

To succeed in this position, you will need to have a strong background in rail signalling design and experience working on Australian/NZ rail projects. You should also possess a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines, or equivalent years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Scheme Plans using signalling arrangement plans as an input.
  • Create Interlocking data for less complex sites under supervision.
  • Perform headway calculations and determine signal spacing for simple layouts.
Requirements:
  • Experienced rail signalling designer with Australian/NZ rail project experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
