Role Overview:

This is a senior leadership position for a veterinary professional looking to make a meaningful impact in animal welfare and shelter services.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced veterinarian to lead our team of veterinarians, vet nurses, and support staff in Western Sydney and beyond.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice, leadership, and team management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and making a difference in the lives of animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in veterinary medicine, diagnostics, and surgery
  • Lead and manage a team of veterinarians, vet nurses, and support staff
  • Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, staff, and partners
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • DVM or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in veterinary practice, with a focus on leadership and team management
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
