About the Role

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for multiple Production Team Members vacancies at our Spence Doors business in Cheltenham. The role involves completing all work assigned to you by a nominated Leading hand/supervisor within reasonable timeframes and to a high standard, using established standard manufacturing procedures and safe operating procedures. No experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

Main Work Areas

Our Production Team Members are responsible for cladding, pressing, and finishing work, including metal door skins and trims, laminates, acrovyn, and painting, sanding, and final preparation. They also work with vision panels and vents. We have a 37.5 hour week, with hours of work from 7am-3.30pm Mon-Thur and 7am-12.30pm Fri.

About You

  • Able to work to business Safety and Quality standards.
  • Cost, achieving shift targets and KPIs (key performance indicators).
  • Customer Service, meeting ECDs (expected completion dates).
  • Ability to work unsupervised and both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Good written and numeracy skills, high attention to detail.
  • Understanding work flow and material consumption/waste.
