Job Description

We are seeking a senior tax professional to join our accounting practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to our clients.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience in public practice, with a strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law and accounting standards. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident in managing client relationships.

The role involves preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals, as well as BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax preparation and lodgement.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Manage and review the work of junior staff.
  • Assist clients with tax planning and structuring.
  • Direct client contact and relationship management.
  • Support partners with advisory and compliance matters.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 4-5 years experience in public practice.
  • CA/CPA qualified or near completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax law and accounting standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident in managing client relationships.
