Aircraft Systems Specialist

As a Fleet Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued airworthiness of Virgin Australia's aircraft mechanical systems and cabin. This involves implementing effective configuration control and preventative or predictive maintenance strategies to improve technical dispatch reliability.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain the continuing airworthiness of aircraft mechanical systems and cabin through rigorous configuration control.
- Develop and implement preventative or predictive maintenance strategies to enhance technical dispatch reliability.
- A suitable Aviation Engineering Qualification (Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent) with an Aircraft Engineering License or relevant experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in the Mechanical discipline.
- Advanced computer or data analysis skills.
- 5 years of relevant work experience in airline technical services, support roles, or aircraft maintenance in a mechanical discipline, working on aircraft similar to those operated by Virgin Australia.
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulations, standards, regular maintenance requirements, specifications, and certification basis for aircraft maintenance programs and reliability programs.
