Senior Legal Counsel– Melbourne Cbd/Sydney Cbd

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Lawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on employment law matters, including enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations, and terminations.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation. They will also possess strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex legal advice into clear, commercially relevant guidance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters
- Monitor and interpret legislative and industrial relations developments
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation
- Partner with senior internal stakeholders across People & Culture, Risk, and Operations
- Lead or support responses to regulatory inquiries, disputes, and litigation involving employment matters
- Manage relationships with external counsel and regulators
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to ethical, people-centred legal practice
