We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Hydroponic Grower. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art hydroponic facility, responsible for cultivating fresh produce using advanced growing techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Crop Management: Ensure the optimal growth and health of hydroponic crops by maintaining precise control over nutrient levels, temperature, and humidity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on hydroponic systems, including pumps, valves, and irrigation networks.
- Pest Control: Implement integrated pest management strategies to prevent the spread of diseases and pests in the facility.
- Harvesting and Packaging: Carefully select and package fresh produce for distribution, adhering to strict quality control standards.
This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with regular lifting of up to 10kg. You will work in a climate-controlled environment with a rotating roster, including weekends.
Requirements- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 10kg and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in hydroponic farming or related fields.
- Education: Relevant diploma or certificate in horticulture or a related field.
