The National Disability Insurance Scheme is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare.

The Cyber Security and Resilience Branch implements government security policies and frameworks by providing strategic, tactical, and operational Agency-wide oversight of Cyber Security and Operations.
As an intelligence team, we develop, enhance, and maintain proactive detection and prevention programs to counter the threat posed by trusted insiders.
We use intelligence methodology, available data, and technology to analyse staff behaviours, determine risk, and provide mitigating advice to reduce overall harm to the Agency.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct fused intelligence analysis in an insider threat context for the Agency.
- Assist in managing and uplifting policy, doctrine, process, and governance of the Insider Threat capability.
- Conduct vulnerability and behavioural analysis, providing security intelligence advice about the Insider Threat capability.
- Manage relationships, gaining insight into critical vulnerabilities about trusted insiders within the Agency.
- Support the Assistant Director in identifying trends and providing intelligence advice on complex security matters.
- Lead, develop, and deliver the vision and strategy of the Agency's Insider Threat Program.
- Use current industry knowledge to provide leadership and recommendations about insider threat and intelligence-related topics.
Successful candidates must obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Clearance, undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check, and/or Working with Children Check (where required), and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
The role is ideally performed from various locations, but other working arrangements may be considered.
A merit pool will be established that may be used to fill similar positions within the next 18 months.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as cybersecurity, intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a related field, preferably in an intelligence or cybersecurity capacity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
